JK Contracting and Handyman started as a “Jack of all trades” side hustle, but evolved into a business when side jobs became more and more demanding. Because of the joy I receive seeing my smiling clients when a problem is fixed or their project is complete, I knew my knowledge and determination needed to be applied independently. About me

I’ve been certified and licensed in several lines of work throughout my life. Rather than hiring out work for projects, I’ve had the ambition to learn how to fix and maintain my possessions as well as the possessions of others. I’ve worked in residential plumbing, HVAC, LP, and construction throughout my career. In all those industries I found myself going above and beyond, taking on side jobs because of the lack of labor to fill the demand of work from customers. I like helping people and I love being able to supply the service that people just couldn’t seem to find. It brings me great joy to see my clients have their needs met.

Remodeling

Living and family rooms, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and basement finishing. If you’re looking to remodel a whole area or only upgrade specific parts of an area, we work for what is best for you.

Paint and Stain

We have 3 different commercial sized paint sprayers and the equipment to handle all size painting and staining jobs. Both interior and exterior.

flooring

Installation of wood, laminate, vinyl plank, and carpet. Remodeling/refurbishing and installing stairs or staircases and railings. We also repair damaged floors.

drywall

Installation and finishing drywall for entire floors down to rooms and repairs. We also provide several different texturing options for ceilings and walls.

Tiling

We build and install complete tile showers, backsplashes, tile flooring, re-grouting, and tile refurbishing.

06.

Style Upgrades

From working with designers to taking pintrest ideas and turning them into reality, we fabricate and install upgrades such as wood beams, new ceilings, board and batten, room patterns, columns, railings, etc.
